Taste of Defeat!

The first match of the "Gautam Memorial Open Volley Ball Tournament" started yesterday with heavy showers and so the matches were postponed to today. Science Vs Engineering was the exhibition match, and next was some mokka match! Next came the match of the mokka's: Street Guyz Vs Random Volleys (ella namba pasangadhan :P).
Toss: Captain of the street guyz team(sudeep) played his part in winning the toss and elected to serve first. Our captain was the most OUTSTANDING captain and so was asked to stay outside the court till the end of the game! :D
The first set was great...Street Guyz won, and u can guess what happened next....Random Volleys won the second and third! so we lost the game(as usual).
This shud be celebrated as the opponent were also street guyz with different name.however this dint happen!there is something hopeless about this defeat! i have never felt in this way for any defeat in my life, of course i have succeeded occasionally in my life, many times i lost when i when i really wanted to succeed! but what makes this defeat a special one??four points shud be enuf to make the readers understand this
1) I dint play the game
2) Street Guyz played seriously
3) After the match each one was pointing out the mistakes committed by the other
4) and finally to top it, we lost the match!
Silence in the camp, even in the mess ppl were discussing about the mistakes that they committed! as a normal person,therez nothing wrong in doing that. But we are STREET GUYZ! its been over an year since the Street Guyz gang was formed and never for any match we did this seriously! we point out others mistakes and laugh like hell, this made out team famous among the guyz! (no idea what the other baek fellows think abt us :P) and now all of a sudden everything has changed! is it only me who is unaffected by change?? or may be writing a serious blog can be termed as a change!
aaan where were we?? the mess scene....after 10 mins of their serious discussion, i had something to say in the gap!
"You guyz should have either played seriously and won the match or should have enjoyed the game and lost, but u dint do any of them! so just shut your mouth and carry on with ur dinner!" i was 100% sure that none would dare to oppose me!after this the discussion went on but this time everyone were laughing and screaming! ppl started to join us and it was the old "Street Guyz" again!
Now i have decided not to represent the team if my players are serious about winning the game! dream about winning all the matches, u are sure that u'll win in ur dreams and if u loose in that also, wake up, wash your face and then sleep, you'll surely win! :D. real life is not the same, a defeat is tastier than victory if u can add some Kodak moments to you life!laugh once in a while thinking about the mistake ur friend made and the way u guyz commented him after that! i still remember the way we played in our first volley ball tournament in the beginning of this year, the sixer that sudeep hit, the way mama played, the expressions sridhar and kgk gave, the comments of shareef, selambals of cedt. i dont think u'll really believe me if i say that while typing the above sentences, i had a big smile on my face remembering those incidences! :)
hmm anywayz now everything appears to be normal but i dont know what will happen in the next match! i better stay away from it! :P
learn to appreciate defeat, enjoy defeat, share defeat, love defeat, work hard for defeat!!
the best way to defeat defeat is to make it a habit! :D
